Principal's Address
I welcome all my students, teachers and parents to the new academic year 2010-11. It gives me great pleasure to see the school settle down well in the new premise and my students growing intellectually, physically, culturally, aesthetically and spiritually. The results of the IGCSE and A levels have been extremely encouraging and have given our school top ranking by CIE authorities. This shows the commitment of our school towards imparting international education to provide global career for our students.
The implementation of the IB primary years programme last year and the IB Diploma programme this year is yet another step taken towards enhancing learning experiences and making our students globally competitive.
At NESISM we believe that every child entrusted in our care has multiple sparks hidden in him/her. We will endeavor to nurture each one of them to achieve their potentials beyond conventional academic success. We aim to positively influence the lives of these young ones so profoundly that they transform into world players and will never forget the experience of being a student at NES International School Mumbai. To actualize this vision for the quintessential transformation of our children, I expect the parents to play a proactive role and strengthen the educational endeavors of the school. The school has introduced innovative interventions in classroom processes, teacher accountability, developed and strengthened institutional capacities through meticulous planning, expertise, training, process analyzing and inspection to ensure greater learning outcomes. Collaborations with foreign universities are in the offing to provide a one stop campus for all international educational needs of our students. This year we are already beginning with the Association of Business Executives (ABE, U.K.) and Institute of Accountancy and Bookkeeping (IAB,U.K.) programs on our campus, which I am sure will be very useful for all and particularly those wanting to go overseas for higher education.
I want all the stakeholders of the school to be convinced that at NESISM we not only educate every child, but we educate every child well for a highly sustainable future.
