Academics

02
Empowering Learners. Inspiring Futures.

At NES International School Mumbai (NESISM), an IB World School, learning is more than the pursuit of academic excellence. It’s a journey of curiosity, exploration, and purpose.

We proudly offer the complete International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum — from the Early Years Programme (Nursery) to the Diploma Programme (Grade 12) — alongside the Cambridge International Education (CIE) pathway (from Grade 6 to 12).

Our academic structure is designed to empower learners to think critically, act ethically, and engage compassionately, preparing them for success in an interconnected world.

Early Years Programme (IB)

Ages: 3 to 6 years old

Grades: Nursery to Senior KG

Celebrating the Start of a Lifetime of Learning

  • Focus: The EYP marks the magical beginning of a child's learning adventure. It is rooted in the IB Primary Years Programme philosophy.
  • Curriculum: Nurtures the whole child (intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically) through play, exploration, and inquiry.
  • Key Experiences: Children grow through experiences that weave together literacy, numeracy, creativity, and wellbeing. Through structured and free play, children learn to collaborate, express emotions, and make sense of the world around them, developing confidence, empathy, and curiosity.

In every Early Years classroom, you’ll find colour, laughter, and discovery. Teachers act as guides, creating rich opportunities for hands-on learning. Our caring environment ensures every child feels safe, seen and celebrated.

At NESISM, play is learning. It builds imagination, confidence, and resilience, laying the foundation for success in school and life. By the end of the Early Years, learners are curious, expressive, and ready to take their next steps with independence.
